CDC Publishes Zombie Apocalypse Prep Guide

That’s right folks, US malady HQ has published just what you should have ready for the impending uprising of nefarious Undead that will bring about the apocalypse.

You can read all about it here, although it seems light on whether it’s better to be packing shotguns of the single or double-barreled variety.

  1. Single-barrel, of course.

A double-barrel shotgun is capable of firing no more than two rounds before needing to be reloaded, whereas most single-barrel shotguns have a 4-5 round capacity.

Sure, there’s a lot less moving parts to a double-barrel, so less things to go wrong, but it’s very, very rare for shotguns to foul up & jam, so even considering the slight possibility of mechanical failure it’s not enough to tip the odds in favor of the double-barrel.
